Responsiveness Is Key!

The responsiveness of your business to customer inquiries and requests significantly impacts your ranking. You have control over when your ad appears by updating:

  • Business hours: Set your business’s operating hours.
  • Ad schedule: Choose the days and times (All Day, Only during my business hours, or custom) for your ad to run, ensuring you receive customer leads during selected times.

Optimize your hours and schedules to align with periods when someone can answer calls. Businesses with higher responsiveness are more likely to receive follow-up leads. Learn more about ad ranking.

Minimum Review Count Raised for Select Verticals

Local Services Ads has adjusted its verification requirements for specific industries. Starting from June 30th, Real Estate, Roofer, HVAC, House Cleaner, Personal Injury Lawyer, and Tree Service businesses will need a minimum of 5 customer reviews to launch a new ad. If your ad goes live before the deadline, it can appear in search results before reaching the 5-review threshold. This change aims to enhance the experience for consumers and providers, as more customer reviews build trust and create additional opportunities to connect with potential clients.
