Effective October 20, 2025, Google Local Services Ads (LSA) will roll out a brand-new, unified Google Verified badge for all advertisers.
This change is part of Google’s ongoing effort to simplify the advertiser experience and make it easier for consumers to trust the businesses they choose.
Google has historically offered multiple verification badges—Google Guaranteed, Google Screened, and License Verified by Google. While helpful, these different designations sometimes caused confusion among users and advertisers.
With the new Google Verified badge, Google is consolidating all verification signals into one streamlined badge that highlights a business’s trustworthiness. This badge will appear directly on your Local Services Ads profile and across other Google surfaces where it can help consumers make decisions with confidence.
For consumers, this means more transparency and clarity. For advertisers, it means a simpler, more cohesive way to showcase verification and credibility.
