Yuriy provided a very reasonable estimate of the roof replacement, including chimney removal. He didn’t try to expand the scope of work beyond what was necessary or try to up-sell me to features that I didn’t need. Communication to arrange the estimate appointment, written estimate and subsequent job completion was excellent, courtesy of Bozhena, his very amiable and efficient office manager. Showed up on time with his crew to complete the job in one day. Protected the surrounding areas of our property at the start and cleaned up completely afterwards. Assuming I won’t have any more leaks after the next monsoon-like rainstorm, I heartily recommend Quality Home Roofing and Remodeling.

Yuriy the Owner of Quality Home Roofing and Remodeling was very professional, he removed and replaced a 500 square foot flat roof I have over my garage studio. It was a 3 day job in gruelling summer heat, he used high quality mod bit torch down materials that will last 20-30 years. I am very happy at how he paid attention to every last detail. The clean up was immaculate, as if the job never happedned . I am impressed and satisfied with the end result. Yuriy and his team are fantastic and have a great track record! He went above and beyond to help us pick the right shingles/colour for our house, venting our kitchen and bathroom properly and tarping all around the house. They just finished our roof in one day, it looks great and they cleaned up well. I highly recommend them.

Really happy with Yuriy and his team. The roof looks great and was done quickly, but most importantly (for me) the guys were careful with removal of the old roof and shingles. They laid out tarps to protect the deck, walkway, and plants, and cleaned up very well afterwards. They really took care. I will be recommending them to my neighbors.

My roof is steep and not easily accessible and there are various small areas (porch, bay window etc.) that also need shingles – two days minimum required. Yuriy responded quickly with an estimate and when the weather allowed, he and his team arrived promptly. They were hard workers, quick and professional and they paid great attention to detail. They were careful with the surrounding garden, and left the site clean and tidy. I am very pleased the work I had done, and I have no hesitation in giving Quality Home Remodeling the highest of recommendations. The house I own downtown Toronto has a very sharp edgy roof. I had a few quotations, many of them declined doing the job because it was too complicated, and those who agreed asked for over 20000 dollars. Then I discovered this company and was very satisfied with the high quality work that was done. It was done fast and efficiently, and they have done more than expected. My roof was inspected and an estimate given before the job was done. I knew the quality of materials that was being used. The builder had too many opened vents causing water not to drain properly, which damaged some of the wood and walls of my rooms. All this was corrected by their team, closing unnecessary opened vents. Their team was at my house before I left for work and by the time I came back, they had finished the job and cleaned my house and surrounding very thoroughly as if nothing was done. They realized my drainage pipe from the roof was not good so they replaced it with their extra special materials without any extra cost to me. Job well done. Thank you
Yuri was recommended to us by a friend that had used him recently. Yuri met with me and quoted us a very reasonable price to strip 2 layers of shingles, replace a skylight and put on new shingles. Yuri and his team came in a timely manner, covered everything with tarps thereby keeping my front entrance clean and free of debris. He added a few new vents and shingled my shed as well. We were very pleased with the work that he and his crew did for us. A few weeks ago we had very high winds in the Hamilton area and a few shingles blew off the roof. I contacted Yuri and without hesitating came out 2 days later to replace the shingles that I had lost. Yuri and his team were instrumental in making sure that a very difficult project got completed on time. We were impressed with his ability to work under stress and when surprises (they were daily) arose he did not falter. We had a 100+ year old building and he managed to totally rebuild the first floor of a 2 story building (without the second floor caving in), including a two flat roofs and an install of a custom deck on the second floor. Excellent problem solving skills and composure. He is the contractor we use for all our properties.

I had several roofers refuse to even give a quote given the difficult access to my roof. One roofer finally gave a very discouragingly high quote I could not afford. I called Yuriy from Quality roofing (recommended to me by a friend) and he gave a very detailed description of what he saw wrong with the roof and of his plans to restore it. I was happy with his plans and quote. The crew he brought with him were all pleasant and efficient and got a very difficult job done in 12 hours. Yuriy showed pictures of before during and after and I am very confident in his expertise, especially given the downpours this summer. No more leaks, looks great, and the crew left the deck cleaner than they had found it!

Quality Home Roofing did an excellent job for us. Our church building (Malton Baptist Church) was in need of a roof replacement, the shingles and some roof decking needed to be replaced.
They were there on time, did the work as laid out in the requirement sheet, cleaned up all the debris. After the roof was replaced, you wouldn't even know they were there.

I hired Yuriy and his team to replace two flat roofs that were giving us problems and a new roof on our newly built mudroom. In addition, he fixed a long standing issue with the roof of our front porch where it attaches to the side of our brick bay window. The porch roof had been reviewed by many roofers all of which couldn't figure out how to fix the century home issue. Yuriy did a fantastic job without changing the character of our home.
They arrived early each day and worked late. The products used were all above standards and were top quality. The craftsmanship was diligent and thorough and flawlessly executed. They cleaned up all the debris from their work and carted away all the garbage.

Yuri and his crew recently did our roof. They did a very thorough job in a timely manner replacing shingles and redoing flat roof portion. They completely cleaned up after completing the work. They are experts at their job and if you want a job done perfectly, the Quality Home Roofing are the way to go. Excellent work the crew was there every day job site was kept clean and organized. The flat roof was 3800 square feet in total with 3 layers. Yuriy and his crew made quick work removing all the layers. Installed a layer of 2" insulation fiber board which I did not have before a base layer with a second fin layer of 250 mod bit which is unheard of in this type of work. Most contractors use a 150 mod bit layer which does not last as long over time. It was finished on time as discussed in contract outline and scope of work with no problems when done. I now have a roof that will last me 20 years and keep our heating bills down with the extra insulation, money well spent.
I'm very happy with the work they done for me. Very organized professional and very clean and I would recommend to everyone ho wont have the roof done right and have no worries for a long time

We had issues with a leaky flat roof. Yuriy responded within 5 minutes of my posting. He arrived on time and inspected our roof. He managed to come up with a temporary solution until the winter weather stabilizes a little bit. So grateful for his professional advice and speedy response.
It is a late review and I have to say Yuriy is the most honest and reliable roofer I have been seen. I had a roof leaking on my master room on the third floor back in early Jan and Attic is above my room. Yuriy responded fast and made the phone call to me on the same day when I sent in request and came on the next day. He went inside the attic and check carefully and told me roof is fine and just condensation cause the leaking. Restrained ventilation capacity cannot take out of the vapour in the attic effectively. Another guy came in lateron and told me he saw lots of small holes in my roof and my roof need to be changed, he even try to talk me into changing the roof together with roofer!!! I called Yuriy again and Yuriy firmly assured me it is not roof issue and he can come check again when there is huge temperature change like minus 20 to above zero degree. No leaking after that time. I called Yuri, as my lower roof was leaking into my kitchen next to my island hood fan, I discovered the issue and installed new roof vents and re routed the downspouts from the upper eaves, he followed up with a courtesy call after the next big downpour, the repair did the trick and I could not have been more pleased, I would not hesitate to reccomend Yuri to anyone on need of a new roof or repair

I had actually paid full price and trusted a client of mine to do it for me! Never again. We had birds nesting under the loose shingles and recently some squirrel found it to be a good home. I would highly recommend this company for roofing repairs. Our roof started leaking during a recent rainstorm. Yuriy and his team arrived soon after to diagnose the situation. Within minutes they had scaled our four-storey townhouse and were busy investigating and making repairs. Afterwards Yuriy showed me pictures of our roof and explained what had happened. His team patched our roof, which stopped the leak, but he also suggested doing a more comprehensive repair. Rather than charge me on the spot, he gave me a few days to test out the patch and to decide whether to move ahead with the repair, which I really appreciated. When he returned a few days later, he took more time to explain how our roof works and how he would repair it to ensure it wouldn't leak from the same area. I had my roof replaced about 10 years ago, and almost ever since then I’ve had a leak in my kitchen ceiling. The company that installed the roof have been over numerous times to repair the roof, but it still leaked. I’ve paid to have the kitchen ceiling repaired 3 times and still had leaks.
I’ve also had other companies in to look at the roof but none could determine where the problem was.

We were impressed with the fact that an estimate was provided very soon after contacting the company and that the work suggested was communicated in a way that was clear for us to understand.
We felt comfortable going ahead with the work and the job was scheduled to proceed within a very reasonable time.
The day of the job, workers arrived on time and completed everything on schedule. Everyone was courteous and professional and everything was cleaned up properly.
We were shown photos of the finished job, as we live in a two story semi-detached home with a roof that is not clearly seen from the ground.

Yuriy and his team are fantastic and have a great track record! He went above and beyond to help us pick the right shingles/colour for our house (even knocking.on out neighbours door to colour match). They just finished our roof in one day, it looks great and they cleaned up really well. I highly recommend them.
About 3 years ago I collected quotes to replace my shingles (2 layers). Yuriy literally shocked me by telling me he would be taking my money if he replaced my shingles. He told me they will last a few more years (which they did). The other contractors gave me quotes to do the job. So, this year, again I collected quotes, because my roof was now having small leaks. I kept Yuriy's number and he gave me a quote which was in line with others. However, he came around and was not in a rush to explain things. I was able to ask many questions and he put no pressure on me to arrange a date to do the roof. Once I decided to have Yuriy do my roof, we arranged a date and he and his team arrived around 7:00 am, stopped due to rain around noon and then finished the job the next day. It took them about 8 hours in total to remove 2 layers of shingles from a plank roof, remove a chimney, replace shingles and remove all the garbage. They used tarp every where and took care around my air conditioner. Yuiry only accepted my payment once I had gone around the house to check the roof was okay and the garbage was gone. The job was done in June and to this day I have only found 2 nails and a few little pieces of old shingles...amazing job. Yuiry also told me that if I have any problem, I just have to call him.

I recently had Quality Home replace my roof. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. Yuriy provided a competitive quote and scheduled the job in short order. I went through many quotations. A few companies never responded. A few companies responded but never showed up. A few companies gave some ridiculous quotation so high that I figured that rather than saying they don't want the job, they just gave a very high quote. Those companies are on Homestars as well. Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling responded the next day. Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling came the following day. I have to give a 10 for my interactions with Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling about what needs to be done and what shingles to use, etc. They are not the best roofing company out there. And no roofing company is the best. You have to choose the company that you think you can work with, and Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling is the company I can work with. It's like a relationship, give and take. That's how I see things. Their quote was not the highest nor the lowest, but from talking with Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling on multiple occasions, I knew I can work with them. And that's what matters most. They came on time, work non stop, and finished same day. Thank you Quality Home Roofing & Remodeling for helping us choose the right colour and grade of shingles quality to choose. Thank you for being so patient and informative with the specifications of what type of shingles to use, etc. This is the kind of company you would want to hire if materials is important. Because we had to scrap the idea of installing extra vents, and go with ridge vents instead, we had to settle with plastic ridge vent instead of metal due to last minute supply contstraints. That's acceptable. We'll monitor for the next coming years how long the plastic ridge vent will endure varying temperatures and rodents. We can always hire them again to replace plastic with metal when times are back to normal and supplies are back to normal as well. Overall I give them a 10 for a roofing company that we can work with as in my eyes they are a people company.

After experiencing some very strong winds I noticed that we had lost a number of shingles from our roof. I contacted several roofing companies in the west end of Toronto. Quality Home Roofing was the only company that responded to my call promptly. I explained my situation to Yuri, he was on my roof assessing the damage within an hour of my call. We called Quality Home Roofing & Remodelling during the peak of Covid. Yuriy and his team were quick to come to our home, maintain physical distance and give us a detailed honest estimate.

Had to replace roof sheeting, shingles and skylight. Poor ventilation caused mould problems. Yuriy cleared bricks between rafters that prevented soffit air flow and put new roof on. They were early to arrive, diligent about their tasks clean curious and contentious. Yuriy even repaired some shingles that were not part of the project. Highly recommend these guys.

Great company and quality workmanship. I called as our downspout was frozen up to the roofline. I got an immediate reply and quote after sending a few pictures. He arrived the next day but was unable to complete the repair as there was risk of damaging the siding. That said, he checked in a few weeks later when the weather got warmer and returned to do the repair. We were very impressed that he checked in as we hadn’t realized the pipe was thawed on the outside and ready to be fixed. He arrived on time, the work was done very well, he stayed within the quoted price and even added a custom bottom to the downspout to accommodate for our unique space. Thank you! Yuriy and his team are extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and very nice people. They responded minutes after the request and came the same day to asses the issue with the roof that got a lot of ice dams that caused water to leak inside the house. They worked very hard and very carefully to not damage the shingles and they solved our problem completely by mid of the next day. The water stopped leaking actually after Yuriy's first and initial cleaning. I highly recommend this company to anyone with similar issues. They work very fast and clean with a very happy attitude.

Did great job replacing my shingles with Certainteed Landmark Pro shingles with Ice and water shield , underlayment and Landmark ridge cap as extra option . Follow building codes in Ontario when job was completed clean up area .

Yuriy and his team did an excellent job of replacing our roof. We had an old Satellite Dish blow off our roof during a windstorm, pulling shingles with it and leaving a hole in the plywood. The work was done to our complete satisfaction and the clean up excellent.

After almost 14 years with the old roof, and a few drops of water seeping by the skylight under harsh wind & rain, it was time to get a new roof. When it was time to gather quotes, Yuriy went up top and also did a temporary fix by turning the shingle to cover the exposed roof to safeguard it. We found Yuriy very knowledgeable as he explained the differences in shingle quality, and different roofing standards along with possible options. He also provided sound solutions (drip edge) & explanations on how to fix the rain that dripped under the soffit. The price was honest and fair, and we feel the work was completed without cutting any corners. Scheduling for the new roof was quick: next day!
We found Yuriy's work to be very professional with exceptional attention to detail. Yuriy noticed the wrong coloured caps were used and removed them; swapping them out for the right colour! Yuriy and his crew showed up on time and worked tirelessly until the end of day. The roof was never exposed to the weather when the roof was completed over a span of 2 days. We liked the translucent mesh tarp laid on top of the garden to protect a budding Spring garden. Black skid marks (from shingle removal) that couldn't be avoided on the stucco was cleaned off well. We even asked for help to wipe the skylights and it was done. The property was swept clean.

We regularly get heavy winds in our area, and for the last few years we've been losing a shingles on our build of less than 10 years. The roof repair was scheduled and completed on time. I had an aging roof that needed urgent repair before the winter. I got 3 quotes: one from a door to door canvasser, another from a roofing company with a really good sales experience (I had a 1hr sales Zoom with them and learned all about roofing), and Quality Home Roofing.
The door to door canvasser had no reviews or qualifications and was offering an inferior service (no underlayment, drip guards, and other things) for an under the table payment. The 2nd company offered the works, but at a really high price tag. Quality Home Roofing came in and offered the works: underlayment, drip guards, new (and more) vents, new flashing, and good quality asphalt shingle for a really fair price. I was given a manufacturer and labour warranty. When a strong wind storm blew a few shingles off during the winter month, they came back and replaced it.
I'm really satisfied with Yuriy and the team at Quality Home Roofing and would highly recommend them.
I've had recurrent problems with intermittent leaks from the roof in my house over the years. I've had others try to fix this in the past without success.
